I was reading up on Wizard.com about DC comics new plan for their upcoming motion pictures and i have to say that i'm not completely on board.

For the uninformed, they are implementing a plan similar to the Marvel, where they make individual movie of a hero then have a huge team up movie after everyone has been established. This part i have no problem with.

Here's the part that i do. Because of the "Dark Knight" massive success story they are going to make their movie a little darker in context and theme. Now for heros like Green Arrow (who deals with all kinda drugs and sex crimes) this isn't a problem but is for the new Superman. See in my opinion Superman isn't supposed to be dark, he can get mad and angry but he should never ever be dark and brooding. The only comic story i can remeber that ever attempted a broody moody Superman was "For Tomorrow" and that was only okay. Superman is supposed to be DC's bright eyed boy, a symbol of light,truth and justice not a dark avenger.

But that is merely my take. Other than that its been a pretty boring day.
